"FUROSHIKI" is a square piece of cloth used to wrap and carry things, and is a traditional Japanese item. Since each item is handmade, there may be individual differences. Matsuda Dyeing Shop has a workshop in Yonago city, Tottori prefecture. Founded in 1702. This is a long-established dye shop that has been passing on Japanese dyeing culture to the present day for over 300 years since the Edo period. They hand-dye using a unique technique called "tsutsugakizome'', which has a long history.
